National Poetry Month 2011, Day #3: Proverbs Written on the Light Rail Platform

Time flies
because patience
is a bottom feeder.

Rage is born
holding a gun
to its own head.

Wisdom always breeds
some form of
blasphemy.

Sensitivity often has
little to do
with the senses.

Noise knows
begging for silence
defeats the purpose.

If love conquered all
it wouldn't be
love.
