Now that Davy Jones' birthday has passed, and the primary filming of my upcoming project Still A Daydream Believer: A Monkees Fan Documentary is over, let's return to our regularly scheduled series of posts, pitching story ideas for a make-believe superhero Santa Claus comic! Fortunately, the true "12 days of Christmas" tale actually acknowledges the week and a half after Christmas, counting down to January 6, a.k.a. "Little Christmas," the day that celebrates the arrival of the gift-giving three wise men. So, with that in mind . . .
In "We Three Crooks," Santa investigates crimes of highway robbery inspired from the three wise men's gifts, only to find a trio of wise
guys determined make a mockery of Christmas! Beware, Goldberg Jewelers! Watch out, Frank's Incense & Gifts! Lock up tight, Murray's Tree Nursery! Those three crooks will traverse afar to mislead you with their scams -- but not for long, with Claus on the case!
