The Sedona Poetry Slam

Check out Fox the Poet's post about my nail-biting win at the Sedona Poetry Slam last night. My set list was "Opt Out: A TSA Love Story," "Dear Lady Gaga's Meat Dress," and "The Case for Dry Humping," with "Where the Luck Goes" as an unexpected victory poem. I'll say it a few more times -- any success I experience in slam is a result of the local poetry community's hospitality and support this year. I'm grateful to have made so many talented friends, and if they're as entertained by my stuff as I am by theirs, we're all winners.
